Yesterday, Dr Sabrina Corbo was awarded the decoration of “Knight of the Order of the Star of Italy” by the Italian Ambassador to London, Pasquale Terracciano, on behalf of the President of the Italian Republic. The entrepreneur Sabrina Corbo is now a Knight of the Order of the Star of Italy.
In 2003, after working at various international law firms, she founded, with her husband Piero Saulli, Green Network, a group specialised in the distribution and generation of electricity, with a strong focus on eco-sustainability. In ten years in business, the Green Network Group has attained a strong market positioning, with half a million customers and an annual turnover of more than two billion euros.
Sabrina Corbo has a string of businesses successes to her name that has allowed her to expand into the UK Market in 2012. She has shown her exceptional commitment to supporting initiatives that promote the cultural and economic excellence of Italy and the UK through close collaboration with all the key players in the Italian economic system. In this respect, the company’s generous support and direct participation in fundraising initiatives for reconstruction after the earthquake in central Italy has been of special importance.
Green Network has also co-sponsored an important publication on the history and art collections of the Italian Embassy in London, thus enabling the embassy, a point of reference for all the Italians in the UK, to further open its doors to citizens and businesses
