Wind Farm in Puglia

On 27 December 2012 GREEN WIND 2 SRL, a Green Network Group company, opened a new on-shore wind farm in Puglia with an overall capacity of approx. 950 kW in the neighbourhood of Lame in Sant’Agata di Puglia (FG), one of the richest areas in Italy for this energy resource.

The Puglia wind farm uses the most advanced technologies currently available in the wind energy generation sector and produces about 2,350,000 kWh per year.

This is enough energy to meet the needs of around 1084 domestic users (with an annual estimated consumption of 2168 kWh per user).

Given that the wind farm in Puglia is directly connected to the national grid, all of the energy produced will be delivered to the network incentivised by GSE via the GRIN mode.
